What is Jipetto 3D Prints?
Jipetto 3D Prints is a digital design studio dedicated to creating, refining, and sharing high-quality 3D printable files. Our mission is to empower the global maker community with original designs that are optimized for printing and ready to inspire your next project.
Does Jipetto 3D prints sell physical 3D printed objects?
No, our primary focus is on the digital design side. We create the "blueprints" (STL/digital files) that you download and print on your own 3D printer. We provide the files; you bring them to life!
What makes Jipetto files different from other 3D models online?
We pride ourselves on "Design Excellence." Unlike generic models that may fail during printing, every Jipetto file is designed from the ground up specifically for additive manufacturing. They are thoroughly tested for structural integrity and printability before we share them.
Who are these files designed for?
Everyone! Whether you are a seasoned professional looking for complex designs or a beginner just starting your 3D printing journey, we aim to provide files that are accessible and inspiring for all skill levels.
What file formats do you provide?
We primarily provide standard STL files, which are compatible with almost all 3D slicing software and printers. Occasionally, we may include 3MF or OBJ files for specific multi-color or complex projects.
Can I sell the items I print using Jipetto designs?
Our standard license is for Personal Use Only, consistent with our "Community First" mission to help makers with personal projects.
Can I modify or remix the files?
You are welcome to scale the models to fit your print bed. However, we ask that you do not alter the geometry or redistribute the files as your own work.
How do I access the files after I choose them?
Once you select a design, you will receive an instant download link to the digital files. You can save these directly to your computer and import them into your slicing software immediately.
Are your designs optimized for FDM (filament) or SLA (resin) printers?
Most of our designs are optimized for FDM printing (PLA, PETG, etc.), as this is the most common technology in our community. However, many of our high-detail models print exceptionally well on SLA resin printers too. Check the specific description of each model for recommendations.
Do I need to use "Supports" when printing your files?
We strive to design models that require minimal or no supports whenever possible to save you material and time. If a specific design does require supports, we will explicitly state this in the file description and often include recommended support settings.
Have these files been tested?
Absolutely. Testing is a core part of our workflow. We print our designs in-house to ensure the tolerances are correct, parts fit together properly, and the structure is sound before we release them to the community.
What specific print settings (infill, layer height) should I use?
Because we test our files, we provide recommended print settings for each download. Generally, we design for standard 0.2mm layer heights, but we will let you know if a specific model requires higher infill for strength or finer layers for detail.
How can I share my finished prints with the community?
We love seeing your builds! Please tag Jipetto 3D Prints on social media or upload photos of your make to our community gallery. Your prints help inspire others to start creating.
